This is such a grounded, generous way to talk about climate and food — no purity tests, no shame, just realism and momentum. I really appreciate Tatiana’s framing that food is personal and imperfect by nature, and that the goal isn’t “right” eating, but doable shifts that actually stick.
Also love how practical this is: olive oil over butter, beans and lentils as quiet heroes, eggs as the great bridge food, leftovers as climate action hiding in plain sight. The idea that one small, consistent change can unlock others feels true — in kitchens and everywhere else.
And that last reminder matters most: individual choices help, but collective responsibility is where real change lives. Preferably over a good meal. That line alone is worth saving. 💛Kelly
Truly sad. It’s not just about climate but including all creatures in a fairer friendly world. Whilst, as correctly stated, animal agriculture is the leading cause of biodiversity loss, it also relies upon excessive use of land and water whilst abusing the donor animal.
Unless an environmental activist is also vegan they are missing a huge opportunity to improve our poor planet‘s condition.
There is no species appropriate animal husbandry.
There is no way to bring a fish to the table without deliberately causing trauma and harm. Drowning freezing suffocation hookes etc.
Including animal products in one’s diet, or for clothes cosmetics etc whilst claiming environmental benefits is pure hypocrisy.
Love a tahini dressing/sauce. I do that a lot.
She was obviously a real cook. These sound great. No chef in sight, I hope.

Very much love this actually-helpful-guide to less un-sustainable eating!
Love this! Also work in climate communications and have a very similar diet so great to get more ideas
Some of my favorite ingredients ever! I’ll be trying some of these. ♥️
Lots of great meal suggestions here…some I’ve never attempted. The crispy rice dish sounds great…I’d love to learn how to make it.
That was an idea of Tatiana's that I agree sounds so good, I may have to develop it into a recipe
Please do! I too would love to learn how to make it! 🥰
