Hi Faye, the label on your condiments will tell you the best way to store them. Nuts and seeds do spoil quickly so best to keep them in the fridge or freezer.
Thank you for the tips! I freeze walnuts and pistachios, but pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, pepitas and chia seeds seem to keep fine at room temperature (in the hot climate of Los Angeles). Sesame oil and soy sauce seem to keep well too.
Hi Emily,
This is just wonderful!--the theme of your post and the recipes!
I don't know how you found me but I appreciate very much that you sent this!
These are absolute bangers. I can’t decide which to make first.
Following up to say I made the citrus chickpea salad with grapefruit and it was a delight.
yay! thanks for reporting back
Surprising that you keep these ingredients in the refrigerator: Hot sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, chili crisp, pecans, almonds,
I don't (in Los Angeles). Do they spoil otherwise?

Also, I realize that I made a mistake and I should have thanked YOU, Ali!
And Emily, congratulations on the book!
