Totally support not spreading oneself too thin and a pause on the newsletter, but for those of us who paid upfront for a year's subscription....are we just out of luck?
Hi Wendy, Because the clock on your subscription is paused, when the newsletter starts up again, so will your billing cycle. In other words, any paused time doesn't count towards the annual subscription.
I've really enjoyed your substack but completely get your decision - I'll keep looking forward to your new recipes wherever they pop up. Thanks again for all the great meals!
This ice cream pie really made my day. Admittedly it's been a while since I made pie. But this gave me renewed interest. I appreciate you sharing this, Ali. Hope your week is going well. Cheers, -Thalia
Thanks Ali, future surprises are always welcome. And I hope you’re spread too thin. Because you have another book on the horizon because I dream of dinner has been so amazing for my home
Ali. I have learned so much from your Substack and your referrals to your recipes as published elsewhere. My goal has been to feel comfortable substituting what is in my pantry as I try new recipes or revive old recipes. The turning point was the broccoli salad recipe where you took the time to explain the function of the ingredients and various possible substitutions. I am now closer to the kind of cook that I always wanted to be. Thank you. I will proceed more confidently as a result of what you have offered us this past year.

I second this!!
Hello - when will you be refunding those of us who paid for a full year? Thank you!

Hi - I would rather just receive a refund as I think it feels a bit weird to pay for a subscription and not receive anything. Thanks so much.
Hi Savannah, I got your emails and refunded you yesterday (you'll see you are no longer subscribed to this Substack). Thanks for reading.
